Every subcontractor working under the OneSource name must meet our mandatory compliance requirements — no exceptions. Standards are non-negotiable and are in place to protect our clients, our accreditations, and our reputation.
Minimum £1,000,000 — however £5,000,000 is strongly preferred and required for most commercial and public sector sites. Must be current, in the subcontractor's own name, and certificate produced on request.
Relevant trade qualifications and certificates must be provided where the trade requires them. This includes Gas Safe registration, NICEIC/NAPIT for electricians, NVQ/City & Guilds trade certificates, and any other trade-specific licences.
Unique Taxpayer Reference required for CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) compliance. All subcontractors are paid under CIS. Verification will be carried out before first payment.
Valid, current government-issued photo identification — passport or driving licence. Required for identity verification before onboarding and before first site attendance.
UK bank account details for payment by bank transfer. Payments are made on agreed terms upon receipt of a valid invoice and sign-off of completed works. No cash payments are made.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme card required for all operatives attending construction sites where CSCS is mandated by the client or principal contractor. The relevant card type must match the operative's role and qualifications.
Risk Assessments and Method Statements must be provided for all tasks where a significant risk exists, or where required by the client, principal contractor, or site rules.
Conduct and quality standards are non-negotiable. These apply to every operative on every OneSource project — residential, commercial, and public sector.
Arrive on time and ready to work — punctuality is non-negotiable.
Maintain a clean and safe working area throughout the project.
Use appropriate PPE at all times on site.
Follow all RAMS, site rules, and OneSource instructions.
Communicate any issues, delays, variations, or hazards immediately.
Complete all work to a high standard — remedial work may be required at no additional cost if standards are not met.
Be polite and respectful to clients, their property, neighbours, and other trades at all times.
Never smoke inside a client's property or in prohibited areas.
Protect all surfaces, coverings, fixtures, and client belongings throughout the works.
Report all incidents and near-misses to OneSource immediately.
No additional works to be carried out without written or verbal approval from OneSource first.
All subcontractors complete the following documentation before commencing any work under the OneSource banner. Documents are reference-numbered and version-controlled.
